This week, Innovation Arts and Entertainment – producer of Beach Road Weekend – shared that Vineyard Campout Festival will come to the Loft in Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard on Sept 9 and 10. The festival will showcase four sets from headliners Pigeons Playing Ping Pong during the weekend-long gathering.
IAE partnered with the Loft in 2021 to revamp the intimate music venue with state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment. After this new makeover, organizers shared their excitement to host the inaugural event.
“Live music is back on Martha’s Vineyard and the Vineyard Campout is one more unique experience that will help turn the Vineyard into a summer destination for music fans from across the country,” said President and CEO of Innovation Arts & Entertainment, Adam Epstein in a press release. “New England has such a strong connection to the Jam Band community, and we hope that Vineyard Campout becomes the stop for the live music faithful to extend this summer past Labor Day.”
Power vocalist Maggie Rose will kick off festivities on Friday, Sept 9 with her expertly blended soul/folk sound. The following day, Saturday, Sept 10 will feature an even deeper sonic journey from Connecticut-based jamband Eggy.
With musical appearances starting at night, attendees will have access to public transport, bike trails, scooter rentals and more to explore the charming island during the day. Vineyard Campout will offer hotel and camping packages through the Martha’s Vineyard Family Campground and The Surfside Hotel in Oak Bluffs. Before and after each night, shuttles will transport guests from the campground to the Loft.
Tickets, hotel and camping packages will be available on Friday, June 17 for purchase. Sign up for pre-sale tickets here.
