Your July Horoscope for Sagittarius
July will strongly emphasize money management, and although as a Sagittarius you would rather devote your free time to other activities, such as reading, sports, travel, listening to music, debating interesting concepts of great philosophical thinkers, or having a lively political debate with a friend, instead you will probably find yourself home at your calculator, pounding numbers.
Devoting yourself to money management doesn’t even make your list of top 10 favorite activities. Alas, until we can pay for a loaf of bread with a poem or a buy a carton of milk with a drawing, we must do a measure of money management sooner or later.
As you enter July, you will see what I mean—the new moon that actually fell two days prior to the start of July, on June 28, will affect you for weeks to come. That new moon will motivate you to look at your financial picture and find ways to keep more of your money, and also ways to make more, too. Is there a way you could boost your credit rating? There are apps for that—you might like one. Would you like to delete some recurring charges on your credit card, such as for some streaming services that you rarely use? If so, this is the month to do it.
If you have a retirement portfolio, you might want to speak with your advisor about making tweaks to see if you can get a slightly better return on your investment or to help you guard against coming volatility in the markets that might happen in late October and early November. You may want to review your insurance needs too, such as your health insurance, car insurance, or renter’s or home owner’s insurance. It’s always a good idea to ask your broker what is and is not covered once in a while, for as life goes on, your insurance needs may change.
