Lady Gaga Posts Tearful Apology After Cutting Final

For the past couple of months, Lady Gaga has been out on the road for the Chromatica Ball, a tour in support of her 2020 album Chromatica. The final show of that tour took place in Miami on Saturday night, but it was cut short due to inclement weather. After getting through most of her set list, Gaga put the show on pause while telling the audience to move inside because a storm was coming through the area. While waiting to see whether or not the concert would continue, fans sang Gaga’s single “Rain On Me” amid some very loud claps of thunder. Torche Will Break Up After Final Tour With Steve Brooks

Back in May, Torche singer-guitarist Steve Brooks announced he’d be leaving the band after one last tour this fall opening for Meshuggah. The band didn’t specify at the time whether they’d carry on with a new frontperson in Brooks’ absence, but — a few days after the release of new single “It Never Began” — two-month-old comments from Brooks’ personal Instagram are circulating, confirming that the band will be calling it quits after this tour. In 2020, Kanye West’s Yeezy brand partnered with the Gap on a new line of Yeezy Gap apparel. The partnership was supposed to last 10 years and generate $1 billion in revenue. Instead, as the New York Times reports, Kanye and the Gap have parted ways just two years into the deal. Nicki Minaj, who has been particularly online as of late, has filed a lawsuit against a vlogger who called her a cokehead. As TMZ reports, the rapper has filed a defamation suit against Marley Green, who goes by Nosey Heaux on the internet, for a video that she posted on Monday in which she claimed Minaj was “shoving all this cocaine, shoving in all this cocaine up her nose.” (more…)

Nectar’s music venue in Burlington gets new owners, makes

Burlington’s most-legendary music venue has new owners who plan to keep the tunes, bar and food going strong while expanding the behind-the-scenes business operations.Nectar’s began its first day under new ownership July 26, when managing partner Ed Maier was at the Main Street venue to greet customers. He said the ownership group includes silent partners he declined to identify. The sale includes the affiliated upstairs venue known as Club Metronome.“I’m a huge music fan as well as being in the industry,” Maier said. “I have the right group of people that came together to make this happen.”The group bought Nectar’s from Noel Donnellan, Chris Walsh, Jason Gelrud and Peter Picard.
